Completing the Construction Industry Training Council Carpenter (CITC) Apprentice Program is a major accomplishment. It represents years of hard work, hands-on learning, commitment to safety, and dedication to the craft.
For TRICO, this moment is more than celebrating a graduation. It is about recognizing what skilled craft professionals make possible for their teams, their projects, and the communities they help build.
Congratulations to our 2026 CITC graduates Alan Garcia-Padilla, Cresencio Araiza-Galvan, David Dilley, and Isaac Ripley on this well-earned achievement.
When reflecting on this year’s graduates and the value of the CITC program, Nate Wolfe, TRICO CEO, and David Dilley shared a similar message that programs like CITC are about more than education, they are about investing in people, strengthening trades, and creating career pathways that support safer, stronger teams.
Nate recognized Alan, Cresencio, David, and Isaac for the commitment it took to complete the program while balancing work, school, and life. Their achievement is a meaningful step in their own careers and strengthens TRICO by creating more opportunities to mentor, share knowledge, and support others coming into the trades.
David shared that CITC is an invaluable institution, and continued support for programs like these matters because they help people grow in their craft, build lasting careers, and bring the knowledge, confidence, and safety mindset needed to strengthen the trades.
Isaac Ripley shared that completing the program is both a milestone and a foundation for what comes next and has provided the hands-on training, mentorship, and foundation needed to take this next step in his career as a journeyman.
Together, these reflections are a reminder that Building Beyond the Building starts with people. It means supporting growth, encouraging mentorship, and investing in skilled craft professionals who help build strong projects, strong teams, and strong communities.
