Concrete tide gate installation. Scope included large-scale tidal channel excavation, levee removal, and new levee construction. Cofferdam installation, surface and subsurface dewatering, and management of tidal and variable stream flows. Placement of structural materials to elevations from -10’ to +10’. Use of low ground pressure vehicles and excavators for material removal, structure foundation placement, and levee work. Concrete placement for footings, walls, and decks. Implementation of Care of Water Plans, TESC and water quality management, defishing, and monitoring of water quality and marine biology health. Sensitive area permitting, site restoration, seeding, and maintenance.
