TRICO partnered with MLI a global manufacturer in the advanced materials and chip manufacturing sectors to deliver a renovation project in Mesa, Arizona (Maricopa County). The project transformed space within an active, occupied facility into flexible research and development laboratories, requiring careful sequencing to minimize disruption while meeting stringent safety, security, and compliance standards. The scope of work included: • Three separated laboratory and gowning rooms engineered for contamination control and secure material handling • Cleanroom environments meeting Class 1,000, Class 10,000, ISO 6, and ISO 7 standards • Integration of hazardous occupancy and electrical classification requirements in accordance with building and safety codes • Specialized vibration and acoustical isolation measures to protect sensitive research and production processes This project highlights TRICO’s expertise in cleanroom construction, hazardous occupancy compliance, and occupied facility renovations.
