TRICO Hosts Lunch with a Crew

TRICO hosted 25 students from Darrington and Getchell High Schools at our Skagit Valley Family YMCA project.  AGC sponsored the event, called “Lunch with a Crew”, highlighting exciting and well-paying careers in the construction industry.  Students were given a tour of the YMCA jobsite, had a Q&A session with  the crew and everyone enjoyed lunch together.  Many thanks to the TRICO team for sharing your valuable insights and experience with the students. TRICO and Skagit Valley Family YMCA partnered for the 9th Annual SICBA Playhouse Challenge for Charity.  The playhouse was a collaboration of the following donors:  Underwood & Associates, LLC, A-1 Mobile Lock & Key, ACCO Engineered Systems , All Spaces, LLC, Carlson Steelworks, Inc, E&E Lumber, Mortenson Sign, North Star Grounds Care, LLC, Rodda Paints and Valley Electric, Co.. and raised $2300 towards Y Scholarships.

TRICO Hosts “Work Experience” for Burlington-Edison High School

Many high school students don’t know about the exciting careers in construction.  So TRICO recently hosted the “Work Experience” class from Burlington-Edison High School.  The class visited our Skagit Valley Family YMCA project.   The class visits local businesses giving students insight into different types of work opportunities available in Skagit County post high school.
