TRICO exported over 12,000 cy of native material and is currently importing gravel borrow and base course in preparation of asphalt paving mid-October.
TRICO digs in and begins construction for the Lot 72 Apron Improvements project for the Port of Skagit. The project will add 200,000 sf of apron area to accommodate growth at Skagit Regional Airport. Work will include excavation, aggregate placement, asphalt paving, drainage and electrical improvements.
TRICO performed repair work to the Fir Island Levee for Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. Work included installing sheet piling, dredging, re-grading, installation of armor rock and resurfacing the top of the levee. Repairs were required due to erosion and sediment accumulation within the channel. This project represents another successful project by TRICO’s civil team!
TRICO is finishing up Fruitdale Road Arterial Improvements in Sedro-Woolley. The project consisted of building a new roundabout to service the Port of Skagit Swift Center, widening Fruitdale Road, and added pedestrian and drainage improvements.
TRICO has been working this summer to make improvements to Lutherwood Camp and Retreat Center. Founded in 1946, Lutherwood has grown to host campers of all ages and run retreats year-round. Improvements include construction and installation of a new waterline, additional fire hydrants and a 132,000 gallon tank filled from surface waters of Lake Samish. The tank towers 25 ft high and 30 ft in diameter and will provide fire suppression storage as well as future potable water for the camp.
