TRICO Joins CITC Carpenter Apprenticeship Program

TRICO is excited to announce that we have joined the Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) Carpenter Apprenticeship program. Carpentry Apprentices dedicate four years to the program to learn how to construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures for wood, plywood and wallboard. Eight TRICO team members pledged commitment to the apprenticeship program and will graduate with their journeymen cards upon completion of the program and state requirements. TRICO hired Reilly Desmul as Project Engineer and promoted John VanValkenburg to Equipment Manager. Desmul VanValkenburg Desmul worked as an intern with Denizen Development Group in Seattle and graduated in June with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from University of Washington. VanValkenburg has 23 years’ experience in industrial and heavy equipment maintenance, five of those years serving in the Marine Corps working in aviation maintenance.
